Katy DelBene

Before joining The Jones Firm, Katy practiced in-house healthcare law at two premier academic medical centers, at the University of Michigan and subsequently at the University of New Mexico. She has experience advising clients in regulatory, governance, strategic, and transactional matters, as well as drafting and negotiating contracts.
Katy earned her bachelor of arts in 2013 and her law degree in 2016, both from the University of Michigan. During undergrad, Katy studied abroad at the Università per stranieri in Siena, Italy, and spent the summer between undergrad and law school working as the program assistant for a University of Michigan language learning program in Ferrara, Italy. While attending law school, Katy participated in the Michigan Health Law Organization and worked as a law clerk at Michigan Medicine, where she later served as an Attorney Fellow.
Katy lives in Santa Fe. She is proficient in Italian. Her interests include medieval Italian and Middle English literature, garment sewing, hiking, and skiing.
